Madilu System Vocalist Madilu was widely regarded as superstar Franco's favorite singer, joining OK Jazz for a short time in the mid-'80s before becoming a solo star. He is also in demand as a session vocalist, singing on many late-'80s recordings. He rejoined OK Jazz in 1990. His most memorable moments are his duets with the great Franco.

Madilu had his own style of singing, which became known as Systeme Mbwakela. Madilu System passed away at age 57 on Saturday, August 11, 2007 in Kinshasa.
